The Hostess

The series is set in the mining town of Anikanovo. It is almost entirely run by Alina Khmelevskaya, a powerful and cruel woman. The main character of the film is Natasha Suvorova, who works at the mine to support her son. Her life changes when she meets the son of the “mistress”, Alexander. The son takes a liking to the young mother, and the whole town soon learns about it. Including his mother, Alina Khmelevska. She is not happy about her son’s new hobby and decides to get rid of Suvorova.
